Hello all,
Am on one of those crazy keyboards again so will not write too much today at all. Too hard to sit and hunt and peck when letters are not where they are supposed to be!
I left Brugge, loved that town, and on a whim got off in Antwerp. Had decided to blow that off, glad I did not. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will try to write more about it when I get to a normal machine. Stayed there two nights in a fantastic little hotel, right on the main square....for 25 euros a night! A real steal.
BTW.....for those of you planning on coming over anytime soon, the euro really raised prices, at least here in tourist land. The waffle I bought on 31st for 60 bf was 1.50 the next day...same place!
Bastogne is nothing to speak of, but memorable to me nevertheless. The memorial is quite moving. I'm glad I made the trip, wouldn't have missed it, but I am back in 'french speaking' Belgium, like Brussels.....need I say more?
That's all for now. Oh, one last thing, there is quite a bit of snow here, first of any consequence I have encountered. And I saw a USA today headline that said Atlanta had snow!!!!!! I couldn't read it, but thats what it looked like. How bizarre.
