Hi -- need some help! Desperate to find an economical place to stay in Munich or nearby. Will be there for Oktoberfest and having trouble locating a place to stay for 3 adults. We're willing to stay in the same room. Dates: Oct. 1-3.

At this late date, you will no doubt have to stay some distance out of town. Anything cheap and nearby was booked a long time ago.
One place I've heard recommended is Augsburg, although I haven't been to this area of Germany.
