19eur for a Dorm room, has a fully stocked kitchen, seems clean from the pictures, really close to train station. There is no reviews on hostelworld...

has anyone heard/experiences of this place?

yes, i spent one night there. amazingly cheap for Venice. but, they had a really funky reservations system. [i'd planned to stay longer but missed the call in time frame]

looks like this is it for me then! I was so worried about Venice because I heard it was so expensive.

you'll need to call from Paris to reserve your bed at Santa Fosca. and, it's very limited, so call early!

i was enjoying myself so much in Italy, i forgot to call on the prescribed day. so, my stay in Venice was very short - just one night.

19 euro for a dorm room is totally cheap. it is what they called 'travel in the lap of luxury on a budget'
