So we're all booked and flying to Paris on March 21st, returning from Rome on April 12th, very exciting!
Now we're looking to book a hotel in Paris for 4 nights (March 22-25), we're thinking of staying in either the Eiffel Tower or Latin Quarter areas, with a budget of (give or take) 150 euros a night.
We have a Lonely Planet book that has a few suggestions but I figured I'd ask the pros over here too!
Does anyone have any specific suggestions of places they have stayed recently in these areas?

Hopefully someone can give you suggestions, but I think most people here have not stayed in a 150-Euro per night hotel, so we won't know personally. The Fodors forum is very good for this - start with a search.
Going by memory, I have read Hotel Bonaparte (in St. Germain, but between the Eiffel Tower and Latin Quarter), and Hotel Varenne (more towards the Eiffel Tower side), Hotel Muguet (Eiffel Tower area), and Hotel St. Jacques (Latin Quarter) might be good options.

misirlis, one Hotel you might consider is the www.hotel-leveque.com/. I stayed there on my last visit to Paris, and found the room quite comfortable. The "beam me up Scotty" elevator is awesome! The Hotel is a two-star property and I believe it might be in your budget range. As I travel "solo", I don't know what the cost would be for a double? The Leveque is located in the Rue Cler area, which is a wonderful area with small restaurants and deli's. It's very close to the Ecole Militaire Metro stop, and within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower (about 10 minutes from what I recall). There's a restaurant right beside the front door (the Croque Monsieur was great!) and two ATM's within a few feet of the front door. Another Hotel you might look at is the www.hotel-du-champ-de-mars.com/champs2.html, although I haven't stayed there so can't comment on the facilities. It's also in the Rue Cler area. Good luck and hope you have a wonderful visit in Paris!
