Im flying into Rome on a Saturday and my friend that Im staying with will not be able to meet me untile Sunday.
We Fly in at 7pm and I dont want to stay in a hotel for 150 bucks just to crash. The Hostel Bookers require 2 night minimums. Is there a place I can stay for free. Maybe a Church of Airport USO kinda thing?
Its a shot in the dark but I was hoping someone can save me some Cash and time.

there are many hostels you can book for just one night. try using another site. they go for as little as €6.50 per night. other, more conveniently located hostels are priced higher.

What date are you arriving? You and your friend can book the same hostel, but separately. Presumably you are going to stay a few days in Rome anyway. He can just book his stay starting on a Sunday. You can probably end up in the same dorm, but if you don't, you'll be fine.

snpr520, to add to the suggestions from David and WT, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to get a booking, as there are lots of Hostels in Rome. However, of course this will depend on the date and whether they are fully booked.
I don't normally use "Hostel Bookers". Have you contacted various Hostels directly? You might try Alessandro Palace or Downtown, The Beehive, Fawlty Towers, Gulliver's House, etc. Hopefully one of them will have a vacancy?
Another option would be to use a budget Hotel. Often the cost is not much more than a Hostel. If you're having difficulty, it may be necessary to spend a bit more for the one night?
Good luck any happy travels!
