Naples

There has been a slight change of plans. Instead of going to Venice, my friend and I are going to Naples (is this even a good choice?). On HostelWorld, "Giovanni's Home" is rated very highly. Has anyone been? Is this a good place to stay?

mcfish123, the culture in Naples is somewhat more "intense" than in Venice, but you would probably enjoy a visit there. Rather than stay in Naples, you could base yourself a bit further south along the Amalfi Coast.

I don't have any information on "Giovanni's Home" so can't offer any comments. The reviews look good though - have you checked www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/GiovannisHome-Naples-16742/reviews/? You could also consider a budget Hotel, as the cost might not be much higher?

I'll be in Naples in a few weeks so can provide more up-to-date information then.

What do you mean by Naples being more "intense?"
