So... I arrived last night in my new "home" town. I got picked up at the airport and was taken to a grocery store where I could get some food. I picked up 6 liters of water, eggs, orange juice, bread, butter, some cheese, crackers, and 4 ice teas. Total price: US$8! Yeah, I think I'm gonna like this place. 
So far, I haven't done anything too exciting to report. The weather is much colder than California, and it's been very gray and cloudy and wet all day today. But I was able to walk around through the center of town and have been awed by all the beautiful and colorful architecture.
I will be having my first Czech dinner shortly, and I will be sure to let you know how it goes...
