Just thought I'd try to share some of my experiences here in a little different format:
23 - number of days I have been in Prague
23 - number of days it has dipped below 40 degrees F at night
0 to 20F - really friggin' cold!
25 to 30F - amazing what you can get used to when you're outside all the time
60 - the high temperature today (in Fahrenheit). So nice!
40 - the temperature now
30 - number of Czech crowns (Kc) in a US dollar
25 - average price of a half-liter beer
22 - what I paid for my last four-pack of toilet paper (sand paper!)
220 - more than enough for a good steak dinner AND drinks
230 - hourly wage for teaching english
35 - number of cable channels I get
100+ - number of channels I got in San Francisco
6 - number of channels where I can currently understand what is being said
4 to 9 - numbers in local telephone numbers
35,000 - number of Americans living in Prague
1,250,000 - total population of Prague
12 midnight - time normal public transportation stops running
5 am - time it starts up again
6 am? - time bars close
6 - number of times I have stayed out until transportation starts up again
2 am - time now
8:30 am - time the plumber wakes me up tomorrow to fix a leaking pipe
But the most important number of all, there is at least 1 happy camper glad to be living in Prague right now! ;D
