So how was Spain?

Spain was absolutely fantastic, thanks for asking!

I arrived at night, and fortunately, a heat wave came the next day. For the first three days of my time there, it was about 80 degrees out (28 C)! I was amazed, and quite unprepared as the weather forecast didn't say it would be that hot. Needless to say, it was much better than the below freezing temperatures I have somehow gotten reasonably acclimated to here in Prague. The rest of the trip was cooler, with some rain, but still not bad.

I also spent some time across the French border in St-Jean de Luz. It's a very small and quaint Basque fishing/seaside town and I had a great time strolling through the streets and beach with such relatively warm weather.

I'll post a more detailed trip report in the journal soon, hopefully before the next trip. I need to make a visa run to the Czech Embassy in Dresden this weekend, and am thinking of staying there for the weekend as there is plenty there I still have not seen.
