From a post I read on rec.travel.europe: Basiqair (a Dutch no-frills airline) will start new routes soon between Amsterdam and Venice and Verona, and between Rotterdam and Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Dublin and Girona. ========= I went to the basiqair.com site - and some great fares are listed - like 20 Euros plus taxes and fees for Copenhagen to Rotterdam. Amsterdam/Rotterdam was often not that great for getting cheap flights, but now it will be an excellent hub. I'm actually quite excited - glad there are some other geeky travelers who will probably feel the same way .

More good air routes news! Thanks for posting this. Amsterdam to Venice will likely prove a useful route indeed.
