and not for a good thing! What were they thinking?!?! strapping a corpse into a seat. seems like it would've been much better to move the body to a closet, or the cargo hold. surely this has happened in the past and plans are made for handling the body in a respectful, yet less conspicuous way.

I've heard of people passing away in their seats on long flights... heart attacks and such... and then there's not much to be done except leave them where they died until the plane lands... that's not what happened? I didn't read/hear this new particular bit of news about British Airways.

I read about this in a couple of newspapers and I was grossed out. If I woke up next to a corpse, I'd be scarred for life. Seriously.

the "corpse cupboards" Singapore Airlines uses sounds like a better idea. [this info is in that article cited above.]
this isn't exactly a fun thread. i prolly shouldn't have started it.
