Love parade leaves Berlin.

I don't know if there a lot of people (I presume there are some), that visit Europe, and let the days in Berlin coinside with the Love Parade. If there are then they should know that the love parade in 2007 is not taking place in Berlin. Most likely candidate to be hosting the parade, would be Essen. (an official pressrelease was send last week, but was also withdrawn), and the date: 25 th of August.

Thanks for the link herrbert! Can't believe the Love Parade - the epitomy of all things Berlinisch - won't be in Berlin. They've been having trouble for a few years now (was it 2004 that it was cancelled?) so I guess it's been coming for a while...but still!

I've been thinking of seeing this in Berlin for a long time, and now it's too late!

The 2004 and 2005 editions were already cancelled.

It seems that the relationship between the organisation and the city of Berlin has not been a good one, the last years.
