Part of it is tongue in cheek, but large parts aren't. The political situation in Belgium is going nowhere at the moment. But there have always been moments like these in the last decades, where the Flemmish and the Wallons can't get along very well. They always found a way out. But the longer it takes, the more voices are shouting for an independent Flanders. But like it always it also true, that the people who shout the loudest, get the most attention in the media. Polls show, that at either side of the language barrier, there is a majority to be found, that want to split up the country.

The question is how long he will be PM.
The most important issues have not been solved, and instead are turned into deadlines. It is not unlikely that Belgium will see new elections before the end of the year.
