The Amsterdam mayor's comment about "boorish Brits" is sort of funny. This summer when I was on the train to go to Leiden (just past Schiphol Airport), a group of what can only be described as loutish-looking young, hungover British men boarded. You would have to see them - they were just classic stereotypes. One asked me, "Is this the train to the airport?". I said that I thought so. Luckily, they did not bother me. But I did hear of them talking about one of the famous sex show bars in the RLD.
