when i saw this headline, i clicked it thinking "they mean a Briton" and wondered who the "she" referred to.
when the story downloaded, i was revolted to find it was about a 'sleb: Britney Spears.

David, it's not surprising that her Lawyers are thinking of quitting, given some of her recent "antics".
She seems to be in a bit of a downward spiral lately. I'm not sure there's any hope for recovery?

I just looked at CNN.com, and just hours after the stunning results in the Iowa caucuses, CNN has the following as breaking news, "Pop star Britney Spears was taken from her home on a stretcher hours after police were called in a child custody dispute." www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/01/04/spears/index.htmlHer children are the innocent victims, and they are the ones I feel worst for. She could be doing all sorts of interesting things (like going to Europe in non-budget style), but she is choosing to be self-destructive instead. |
