It was clear as a bell here in JAX and I had the camera loaded and every good intention. However, having been up since 0400 and needing to get up at 0500 this morning I just could not hang. Nice pics Kim.

Those are great photos. ...but Kim, you're killing me here! I had my equipment all ready to go but there was cloud cover all night. I couldn't even see it. Very disappointing. Here's one of my non-eclipse photos just for fun.

Great pictures, Kim! You're certainly putting that new Camera to good use. I'd be interested to know what type of Lens and camera settings you used?
With pix like these, you've got me thinking about upgrading my P&S to a DSLR!

Awesome photos Kim! I totally missed the eclipse because of a cold, I was dead asleep by 8! Figures the one night I actually fall asleep early is the one night I WANT to stay up and see something! Doug

Wow funky!
isn't it bad for the eyes to watch an eclipse directly? Or is it just me, my science-friendly me, that thinks that?
xoxo Jen

You can't watch a solar eclipse with the naked eye Jen...but lunar ones are just fine to observe.
