But Jen! It's Italy!!! For $249 bucks! I've had to lock my credit cards away for the day. ;D I'm telling you, if Rome or Florence pops up I simply will not be able to resist! Looked at WT's 'advance' listing and neither is on there, but there are several days that have nothing as yet. Oh lordy, with the dollar as it is I foresee a huge dent in my savings coming up.

Ging, more power to you if you resist! hehehe I'm telling you, everything is holding me back, money, christmas, school, work, but if I were like you and had nothing holding me back with money saved on top of it, i'd already be there! Come on, you've been reasonable all your life, give yourself a treat for the new year!
eheheh (Jen is not so good for the bank account!) ;D

Yeah, I hear you on that Ging! How could you resist? If I wasn't still paying off the wedding, I'd be there as well!!

Gdansk, Poland today (December 6).
This is likely to be much cheaper destination than most of the Euro-zone countries.

Ooohhh Gdansk is really tempting for me. Too many things holding me back though. Riga is really tempting too. If only I had extra money kicking around!

true Jen....however it is not the cost of the airfare that is the big problem for me, that I have. It's all the money I'll need once I get off that plane that is the problem! WT....you know your cc by heart? Incredible!

Hi! Yeah, I know Ging, if it was only for the price of the airfare, I'd be gone already at that price. Unfortunately being "in the terminal" for 2 weeks doesn't enchant me hehehe
By the way if I may be curious, what's a cc ging?

Jen, with any luck, next December there will be another SAS Advent sale. So just keep this in mind and save up like a busy beaver . I'm sort of half-planning to use next year's sale for a future trip if I can organize it. (Assuming they don't quit doing this of course.)

I'm still safe...just please god, not Florence or Rome!!
(Although the $99 + tax to Stockholm surely spun my head around!)
