Kim, I'm not sure where to stick this thread, but it seemed to fit here. Please move it if you think it should be elsewhere.
I used the Hostel search engine thorugh GFE and turned up a rate for the YHA City of London that is almost 10 Pounds cheaper per night than their advertised price! It's so good my worry is they won't honour it if I booked and showed up. I expect they would stand by that price.....at least I hope.
Anyway...I just wanted to point this out to anyone who might not have looked. It was so much cheaper.

I'm not too surprised. It's often much cheaper to use a third-party booking agency than to book a hotel direct - and I've seen this happen with hostels as well before. But it's a great deal.

They will definately honor it. Both you and they get paperwork saying how much of a deposit is paid and how much is left to pay so don't worry! It's always good to bring your copy though, just in case.
