Hey, we got a chance to have free internet so I
thought I'd give you a bit more of review of the
hostel we stayed at.
It was called the Piccadilly Hotel and it was one
block off of Piccadilly Circus. It was pretty darn
clean for a hostel (thought I don't have much to
compare it to). The Internet was only one pound per
hour. There were room keys for our four-bedded room
with a closet and shelves for your stuff. Also, tiny
lockers for just the essential stuff (wallet, money
bag, passport, etc)It was a six hundred bed hostel -
but we didn't think there were many people there.
Nicole and I didn't think the people staying there
were all that friendly, but maybe that's b/c it was
our first experience. We even got chased out of our
first room by a crazy live-in girl who danced around
the room naked - eeek! We didn't really meet anyone
till the last night, when we met two adorable Dutch
girls - very nice - too bad we were leaving the next
morning early
We went out with the hostel to two bars, the Buzz Bar
and Rainforest cafe. If we'd known anything about
London, these wouldn't have been our choices, but we
decided it was easier to go with the hostel than
wander around trying to find a place.
All in all we had an absolutely fantastic time in
London. We're staying with friends in Aberdeen
Scotland now, and going to take a look at some castles
this afternoon.
Hope all is going well with you. Again, thanks a tons
for recommending the place in London, I hope we have
that much fun other places. We're off for Rome on
Wednesday, staying at Gulliver's house
Talk to you later!
