Hey!
I'm planning a 20-day (roughly) eurotrip for this coming july. These are the countries I have in mind (chronologically):
Holland Germany UK (from germany thru belgium) France Spain Italy Austria/Switzerland/Czech (one of them) and back to holland for my plane ride back home
is this over-ambitious? i'll have to spend aorund 4 days in each country. plz i really need all the advice i can get cuz i need to start booking things by the end of march.

From what I can see... your not really alloting yourself enough time. If you want to spend 4 days in each country to have to limit yourself to 5 countries or extend your stay. Plus, how is it that you plan on gettin around in Europe? Because if you plan on taking the Eurorail, then certain portions of the trip may be unfeasible or at least dreadful (like travelling from austria all the way back to holland - theres one day gone!). If you are flying, I think you would be better able to hit all the places you mentioned above (though the price could be very high.) For 20 days, I would recommend condensing your loop because I'm doing a similar loop this summer yet its going to take me around 45 days, and even then I dont know if I'll have enough time! Personally speaking I've never backpacked through Europe but I have travelled overseas many a time and from what I can see I would recommend sticking to a smaller geographical area.

*Remember... Europe is bigger than what people think!
