Hey, i have been trying to put together a good trip, let me know what you think, PLEASE.
Berlin (land early in morning) 3 DAYS for Berlin and surrounding areas. late night to Prague 2.5 - 3 DAYS in prague with a night train to Budapest Budapest 3 DAYS (leave late the 3rd day for Austria, about 4 hours away) Vienna for 1 DAY then on to Munich Munich for 2 DAYS then to Rotenburg 1 DAY then Baden Baden 2 DAYS Frankfurt 1 DAY Brussels 1 DAY Amsterdam and surrounding for 3.5 to 4 DAYS
Total. approx 21 days
Also, should i just get a full rail pass as apposed to the 15 days over 2 months or something like that?
I pretty much do a big loop, and dont back-track at all if i take this route. I know that i will be moving around a lot, i just wanted to see/do as much as i could in as many places while trying to avoid France and Italy for this trip. Does this seem like it would work out, and be fun even? I appreciate all the help i can get.

As you say yourself, this is way too tight. 3 days for Berlin, Prague and Budapest, I can understand (for me that's 1 day too little in Berlin, but 3 can work depending on your interests), but the middle part is way too tight, you will be spending more time on a train, than having time to see anything. In three weeks you are able to see some cities, but you will have to make some choices. Personaly I would stick to about 6-7 cities. For Vienna you will need 3-4 days, and 2 for Munich will only do for the city. (If you want to do daytrips, to the Castles near Füssen, or to Dachau, you will find, that you have too little time). Rothenburg, is about 3-4 hours from Munich, so even if you leave right after breakfast, you will only have an afternoon here. As you don't have time to see everything, I would skip Frankfurt and Brussels. I would also skip Baden-Baden, unless you want to trade it too another city. For Amsterdam 2-3 days will do. There are some towns in the region, that you can visit, like Haarlem. It's natural that you want to see as much as you can, be you can also leave of some cities now, and add them to a future trip. For now I should wait, with getting a railpass, until you now the route. If you finish your route, that go to www.railsaver.com, and check what the best solution is for you

HerrBert is right on. ONE day in Vienna?!? that's crazy talk!
what's the point in going to such a major city for one day? it'd be better to cut the one day stops, entirely. skip places if you don't want to invest the time in seeing the place. better to spend the time in places you actually want to see.
