hi everyone,
we arrived in seville yesterday morning and are staying in barrio santa cruz. great little area and we found a pension for 18 EUR per person/night called Pension Vergara. much better than the 53 per night hostal toledo (suggested by the guidebook) was going to charge. all i can say that it is HOT in seville...hotter than madrid...so hot to the point that i´m finally using the sunblock i brought. and showers with cold water is one of the highlights. so far we´ve seen the Giralda, Catedral de Sevilla, and the Alcazar. Both are next to each other and just a short walk from the pension. next stop is the plaza españa where they apparently filmed part of star wars, episode 2. tomorrow we depart for granada to see the alhambra and then fly to barcelona that night.
