okay so this was the old itinerary which we were like its good but seems kinda rushed and i think this itin is probably better anyways... (the #'s after city are ngihts in each place) (the * after each place means flying to) amsterdam 3 brussels 2 berlin 3 * karkow 3 vienna 3 bratislava 1 budapest 3 geneva 2 * lyon 1 nice 3 paris 4 *
but i had a light turn on and was thinking (since we will by flying a lot we could do this below...)
amsterdam 3 brussels 2 berlin 4 * karkow 3 vienna 3 bratislava 1 budapest 3 barcelona 4 * paris 4 *
and we have another day and are not sure where to put it whatdo you guys think of the change? we would of really liked to goto nice and monacco and we dont need to goto switz cuz we have something similar in vienna since we were not going to some place like interlaken anyways.. so what do you guys think of the change? would u change it more and if so what?

Just a point - Vienna and Switzerland aren't really alike, it's more the Tirol region of Austria and Switzerland that a lot of people here compare.
Also, you've substituted Barcelona for Nice on the 2nd version. Taking this, and your comments, into consideration, how about:
amsterdam 3 brussels 2 berlin 4 * karkow 3 vienna 3 bratislava 1 budapest 3 nice 3 *(fly there from Budapest with Sky Europe) lyon 1 paris 4
This might leave you with 2 extra days (haven't counted the different - will leave that to you ;D), but I have used your original itinerary so Barcelona isn't in a you said you'd like to go to Nice and Monaco. If you wanted to keep Barca, then you could still fly to Nice from Budapest, spend 2 days there, then you'd have to either (long) train ride Nice-Barca or fly Nice-Madrid then Madrid-Barcelona. Then fly Barcelona to Paris at the end. As you know, it's either one or the other with the time that you have.

i forgot to mention that i would be flying from brussels to berlin, budapest to barcelona, barcelona to munich, and munich to paris, if that is the route chosen
or maybe going to portugal for 2 days? bleh i jut dont wanna be in barcelona for 6-7 days

rbrettg, sounds like you're all over the place in terms of deciding where to go/what to do! Now that I know you're flying to Barcelona from Budapest, I'd say skip the Riviera and look at spending time in Spain - lots to see and do to take care of that pesky 6-7 days you have floating around! So let me get this straight - you've booked the route to fly or not yet? IF you haven't then the sky's the limit. To answer your questions, yes Munich is worth the visit, but don't skip any more time in Berlin (3 nights would give you 2 full days of sightseeing, which is the minimum). So if you now aren't set on going to the Riviera, remove it if it doesn't fit into you plans. Can't recall - what time of year are you travelling?

So you're not in Munich for Oktoberfest, which will make accommodation easier. The Riviera is getting nice and warm at the time of year you're travelling, but so is Barcelona, so I stand by what I said before - spend the extra time in Spain (Barca, Madrid, etc - Herrbert and David will have suggestions). Flights from Barcelona and Madrid to other European cities are easy to come by.

rbrettg, a few observations to add to the other comments......
Even though you'll be using budget flights for the majority of your transportation, you've still got a fairly "busy" Itinerary for a one month trip! Of all the destinations, Krakow (note spelling) and Barcelona stand out as the most geographically distant.
It will be interesting to see how this works out in actuality. I suspect it's going to be somewhat tiring, to say the least. Be sure to let us know at the end of the trip.
Happy travels!!!

or maybe going to portugal for 2 days? bleh i jut dont wanna be in barcelona for 6-7 days If you would spend 4 days in Barcelona, you can see another place for 2-3 days. Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, Mallorca, would be easy options in Spain. Other places, you can fly from Barcelona, and to Munich from, are Lisbon and Faro in Portugal, but you could also go and see Venice, and then maybe taking the trainride from Venice to Innsbruck and Munich (this way you at least see something of the Austrian Alps). I think Venice would be my choice for 2 days, using the third to get to Innsbruck, maybe stay one day, and go on to Munich. Flights within Spain: check Vueling, Iberia, Spanair. Flights from Spain to Germany: LTU, AirBerlin/DBA, Condor abd TUIfly Flights from Barcelona to Venice: Vueling Airlines, Clickair, MyAir, and AlpiEagles Flight from Venice to Munich (if train takes to long): TUIfly
