So I'm done with school this May, the University of Massachusetts and I got my trip all planned out I'm kind of doing the Mediterranean tour. London, Greece- Athens Thessaloniki; Greek Island - Santorini; Malta; Italy- Rome Flourence; Spain - Barcelona. I'll be traveling for the month of June. Will it be a busy time in these places? Any crazy beaches I should make sure I see? Anything else?

Are you just going for the month of June, or are you starting in June? It's quite an ambitious route for 1 month.
In terms of beaches, the only place with really good beaches is Santorini. The other places are more cultural based, even if they are on the coast (e.g. Barcelona - the beaches here aren't great).

Who? Me? Nope. I've been there a couple of times though. The beaches in the city aren't anywhere near as good as the ones further up the coast (around Pals, Begur and L'Estartit). I guess it's all relative though.

I do the same thing, say "here" even though I'm not actually there, just thinking about the place thus using the wrong noun (or adverb, depending on your location  ). Other "crazy beaches" could be Ibiza and Mykonos (Ios is sooo last century ) in terms of parties. |

Yah I'm going for the whole month of June, I know it sounds like a really ambitious trip but I feel like we planned it well we are taking no trains and doing everything by air. All the hostles are booked except for Barcelona, any recommendations?

Kabul Hostel for Barcelona, it's got some really good reviews. That said, all the ones around Las Ramblas tend to be pretty good, although the area itself is not too hot, with a lot of petty crime. Check out www.kabul.es. |
