sassanrafail, it appears that you've put some degree of thought into your travel plans, however the route seems somewhat inefficient IMHO. There may be reasons for the Itineary you've chosen, but I would have chosen a different order of cities. I suspect you're going to be worn-out at the end of your trip!
Also, is there a reason you've chosen Milan? My preference would have been to visit Florence, Lago di Como or the Cinque Terre instead, unless you want to see "The Last Supper" or whatever? If that's the case, you might have to reserve in advance (hopefully one of our other members can advise on the current wait-times for reservations?). The Cinque Terre will be closer to Monaco, so would be a good choice.
As July isn't far off, I imagine you're getting anxious to leave! Good luck and happy travels!!!

Excellent!!! I really enjoyed Florence, and can hardly wait to return. One point though, if you're planning to visit either the Uffizi or Accademia, then reservations are a really good idea! Without reservations you might wait in a queue for hours (especially since you'll be there in August). If you're going to pre-book your Hotel you might ask them to place reservations for you (give them some idea what day and time would be preferable).
Hopefully, MadamTrashHeap will spot your Post, as she's the expert on Florence and may have a few suggestions for you.
Cheers!!!

Hark, did someone call my name?!! I'm glad to that you swapped Milan for Florence! The booking ahead thing that Eagle mentioned is a very good idea, especially in Summer. Who wants to stand in line when you can glide on past with a booking?! The bookign numbers for the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia (the real statue of David is there - otherwise there's a very fine copy in the Piazza della Signoria!) are: +39 055 294883 or Fax +39(.(0)55.264406 or you can go online at www.virtualuffizi.com/uffizi/uffizi-gallery-tickets-reservations.htm for the Uffizi (closed Mondays) and www.weekendafirenze.com/bigphp/mus.php?mus=accademia&skin=fi for the Accademia (same as for Uffizi link - the Florence museums are part of a city collective called the Polo Museale Fiorentino - Italian website only). There are booking fees for each (about Euro3.00) but this is for a service so is worth paying to guarantee entrance and to not stand in the very long line. Go forth and gaze at the pretty pictures! ;D
