I'm using "Lets Go" guidebooks and I got so used to them that when I turned to use my "Lonely Planet" Germany one it was just not happening! So up until Germany this is what I have.
Depart: Seattle Arrive: London 3 Nights 2 Days spent in London. Ryanair flight from Luton to Rome, Italy
Day 1:Rome Day 2: " " Day 3 " " Day 4 " " Day 5:Florence Day 6: " " Day 7: " " Day 8: Rimini Day 9: Riccione Day 10: Venice Day 11: " " Day 12: " " Day 13: Milan Day 14: " " Day 15: Turin Day 16: " " Day 17: Cinque Terre Day 18: " " Day 19: Nice Day 20: " " Day 21: Corsica Day 22: " " Day 23: " " Day 24: Marseille Day 25: " " Day 26: Aix En Provence Day 27: Avignon Day 28: Carcassonne Day 29: Biarritz Day 30: Bordeaux Day 31: " " Day 32: La Rochelle Day 33: Ile De Res (Significant to me, thus an extra day spent here) Day 34: Amboise Day 35: Paris Day 36 Day 37: Day 38: Day 39: Day 40:
Now I am undecided on whether or not to fly out of France and into Germany or continue along Reims and Chambord to enter Germany. Prefarably I'd like to work my way South --> Up with stops in Singen and Aachen as well as 2/3 of the 4 major cities.
Any feedback? I'm 18, thus the trip up through Rimini to get to Venice.

Now I am undecided on whether or not to fly out of France and into Germany or continue along Reims and Chambord to enter Germany. Prefarably I'd like to work my way South --> Up with stops in Singen and Aachen as well as 2/3 of the 4 major cities. the Singen i know of is near the Swiss border, a very long way from Reims. but, this would work well to get to Aachen, after an Aachen visit you could easily get to Cologne, about 75 km. after Cologne, it's a ways to Hamburg, 430 km, but there are some great places to go between Cologne & Hamburg! if history is any interest to you, Münster & Osnabrück are on the way between Cologne & Hamburg. Münster & Osnabrück are important as the sites where the Treaty of Osnabrück and the Treaty of Münster, signed in 1648, establishing "Peace of Westphalia" and the Westphalian system for interaction between sovereignties, which has lasted more than 450 years. Bremen is also on the way between Cologne & Hamburg. Bremen is an important port city, a Hansestadt, actually 35 miles inland from the North Sea. Bremen is also know for a statue "Die Stadtmusikanten (Town Musicians) which portrays the donkey, dog, cat, and rooster of the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale." from Hamburg, it isn't so far to Berlin, the most major city in Germany. this plan would give 3 of the top 4 cities in Germany: Cologne, Hamburg & Berlin. personally, i enjoyed Vienna, Austria, more than any place in Germany. - d I'm 18, thus the trip up through Rimini to get to Venice. huh?

Perhaps maybe it'd be possible to go through Singen and go down to Vienna? My one problem is I am returning via London so for travel purposes (Unless I fly) It'd be smart to work my way up instead. Thanks though for the advice! The Rimini comment was made because I've gotten a few comments from Travel Agents as well as people that have gone that Rimini is not much more then Nightclubs and partying and that it was too much for alot of them.
