Im not clear on the rules.
If I buy a Pass for 5 countries am I allowed to go through another country that is not one of my five, to get to one that is.
for example can I cross from Northern France, through Germany and Into Austria without using Germany as one of my 5 countries?
thanks for the help... I only have 4 weeks until my trip is finally here!!

no, the country that you are crossing over must be part of your pass. if not, you will have to pay for that portion of your trip out of your pocket. you can try to maybe find a flight to bypass which probably would cheaper than paying for a train ticket.
