On a possitive note: The water reservoirs have been filled up the last couple of days to 35% of their capacity, which is the same level as two years ago. Spain (especially Catalunya) has been seeing some heavy showers the last few weeks.
Another little fact: the average person in Spain use about 200 litres of water a day. The average tourist: 400 litres (and if you count the filling of swimming pools, spraying of golf greens etc - even 900 lites!!)

I did read about the rain in Spain (heh heh, couldn't resist) on the weekend, which is good news. But also that the filling of swimming pools is upsetting Tarragona residents as it's apparently their water being used in Barcelona. Of course, not all you read in the paper (print or internet versions) is true or complete (don't get me on my soapbox about the media!) but it's interesting nonetheless. And the water tankers are also still coming from Marseilles.
