Hello all!
I'm leaving quite soon to backpack across Europe for a month and I had a quick question about rail passes and coverage.
I am aware that the Czech Republic is not included in the Eurail Global pass; however, can I cover some distance outside the country with the pass?
We're taking an overnight train from Venice to Prague, and then from Prague to Berlin. How much of this can be covered with our Global Pass, and what sort of arrangements will we need to make as far as buying/using tickets?
Thanks!
Zach

Thanks!
I do wish we could spend time in Austria, but our itinerary is pretty packed as it is. Oh well--just gives me reason to go back someday!

Actually, I'm doing the same thing, but the other way. Railsaver told me this:
Vienna-Breclav (on the railpass), Breclav-Prague (not on the railpass) Prague-Decin (not on the railpass), Decin-Berlin (on the railpass)

yea, i went vienna-breclav, breclav-prague.
i could've sworn that the breclav train station is where they filmed the movie hostel. lol
breclav-prague is a beautiful train ride that runs along the river. amazing.
