Can anyone tell me about taking the Roissybus from CDG to Paris 1st district (Louvre & Palais Royal gardens)? How much is it? How long is that ride?
What other inexpensive travel option are there from CDG to Paris?
Thanks in advance.

www.easycdg.com/pages/cdg_airport_accesspag.htmlCheapest way is by bus - only 1.30 euro (last I can recall) and can be bought on-board the bus or even better, buy a carnet (10 tickets) at CDG. You only put in one ticket on a bus or metro ride. I always see native Parisians taking the bus rather than the RER or Roissybus - I guess it's more convenient for them. But the travel time is obviously longer than the RER. Most convenient way is for you to take the RER (Line B) to Chatelet Les Halles and transfer to the metro (Line 1) which take you to Louvre/Palais Royal. I honestly don't recall the amount of time it took me to get from CDG to Paris (I went on RER B to Line 4 in the 2e arrondissment) but I don't think it really took that long - otherwise I would have remember complaining about the length of time. I think it was about 40-50 minutes, combined and cost around 8-9 euros.
