Need suggestion for Germany hostels!

I will be heading to Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt and some other towns I have not decided upon yet (any suggestions on where to go?) maybe Munich (I will already be going but with people not in hostel). I have a few I have bookmarked in Berlin, haven't checked Hamburg yet, where I am staying first, then off to Berlin, and haven't checked Frankfurt or anywhere else yet.

For Berlin, I would go to the Circus Hostel. (can't help you in the other cities)

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw about 95% on my way to book 4 nights in Berlin at The Circus, so I am at 99% now, book the nights and I will be 100%. Thanks.

Still open to suggestions for the other German cities.

Frankfurt: there are lots of budget hotels around the city train station area (just watch the peep shows!), try Intercity Hotel Frankfurt.

Hamburg: again, lots of budget accommodation around the train station (which is very central) so look at ones like A&O City Hostel Hauptbahnhof (main train station) or Backpakers St Pauli if you want to be closer to the Reeperbahn district and not the centre.

I can't vouch personally as I have friends in both cities who I stay with, but I hear good things about all properties. Maybe search them and check the reviews on Hostelworld, etc.

Well, I will hopefully be staying at "The Circus" in Berlin, it looks like I am staying in "Wombat's City Hostel" for 1 night in Munich (after my initial 14 days), then off to Nuremburg where I will stay at the "Lette`m sleep Hostel" for another night, then off to Frankfurt for 2 days (3 nights) and will be staying at the "Frankfurt Hostel" then off to Berlin. I haven't booked these yet (it is 5am..!, but I am tomorrow afternoon) so if anyone has any last minute suggestions, let me hear them.

My next thread will be Italy... ;D
