HELP!!!!

Hi there everyone
My brother has a problem. He needs to get from Bulgaria to the UK by the 18th of Sept. So I need the cheapest possible method of doing that and some sites to help me along the way. I'm guessing bus is the way to go but some one point me where to go please. I have tried some flight searches and all are quite expensive (we live in the North of England so flights to London are no good).
Please help somebody!!!

Hi Shelley, just got back on the Boards so have only just seen your Post. I hope your brother found his way home OK. Was going to suggest he take a train/bus to Istanbul then get a flight from there as they are often cheaper.
