I arrived at about 8 pm, Peter and Cathrin were waiting for me, what wonderful welcoming people! We went back to their house, had supper and then they showed me to the room they had found for rent for me. It was a whole appartment for just 16 euros, amazing and such comfy bed!
The next day it was raining so Peter showed me around Lindau island a little and then we went for a drive to Birnau church, its spectacular! Then we went for a guided tour of Meersburg castle. The keys to this place are exactly like the ones I have to get in my room, they are so old!
So I spent the rest of the time talking and eating with Peter and Cathrin, I walked around the lake the next day, slept a little cause I had a big throat ache. Then on Friday Cathrin and I went to Bregenz in Austria on the other side of the Lake. We took the cable car up to Pfander, really nice view of the lake and nice animals. We walked all the way back down, a 2 h walk, our legs were dead by then!
So, on the weekend I went to eat with Peter and his friend from Freiburg. I had great fun in Lindau and mostly thanks to my great hosts, they were really welcoming and they made Lindau one of my favorite cities!
