So i finally left the Alps, sad thing! I love it there! I got to Freiburg in the afternoon, went to the Black Forest Hostel, not too impressive but good enough for 12 euros. I walked around the city for a while but it started raining so I went up to my bed and had a nap. I got back up only around 8 and read for the rest of the evening as it was still pouring rain!
The next morning it wasnt sunny but it wasnt raining so I headed out as fast as I could to take in the sites. Freiburg is a really beautiful city. Its friendly, familiar and welcoming. People are all on bicycles, students are everywhere. The Munster church is really nice, but of course with my luck, it was under construction. I saw the Schwabentor, the Martinstor, all the little things. I also went to the market. I recommend this city to anyone. It really has the feeling of a little German city, its just by the Swiss and French border so its a special feel! As I did my final college project on this city, I figure I'd have to visit it, and I really do not regret it. It's worth every minute of it!
