I will be backpacking Europe East to West from early April to early July 09. I am planning on covering most of the countires that are on the eurail net work, and want to camp out on and off.
Are there any specific places you could recommand - taking the weather that time of year into account depending on the location. This is partly to save money and partly to take in some of the nature Europe has to offer.
If you could give me location, pricing and activities that can be done in the area that would be much appricated.

Is it 'natural wonders' that interest you specifically or more adventure holiday type things?

More natural wonders to see beautiful sights and do some hiking but nothing touristy - something remote.
Becasue I will be doing enough advanture holiday things while in New Zealand and Australia before coming up to Europe. Thank you,

If you like nature and you can to go for some hiking, then check out the National park Hohe Tauern in Austria. Near Bramberg is a camping (Weyerhof), from there you can walk into the Habachtal, which is really a beautiful place.
I know this because we stayed for may years in Habach (but not on this camping), so don't ask me about the prices.
