So I arrived in Koblenz at 11 and checked my emails. I found out I couldn't stay at Catrins house because she wouldn't be there tonight. So I took the bus up to Ehebreitstein fortress where the youth hostel is! Its soooo beautiful and the view is absolutely stunning, you can see the Rhine mixing in to the Mosel! <ake sure you have some ice cream in the cafe if you go! So I spent the day there, walking around, having a tour of the castle. The next morning I left early for the city, oh ya, you have to take a ski lift up to the castle, a big adventure with my 2 backpacks! So I met Catrins roomate, Kathrin, heheh! at the train station. We went back to her place and had some food. We then walked around the old part of Koblenz which is stunning! SO I walked around for hours in the streets and I splurged, I bought a winter coat cause the weather is spooking up on me more than I had expected with my fleece jacket! I went back to the apartment and read for a while while they worked a little. I went to bed right after I tried my first martini, hum, I'm not a fan! The next morning I got up at around 10h30 and got all ready, I packed my bags for the afternoon. I then went walking around the city, went to the Deutsches Eck, the german corner, the one I took pictures of from the Ehebreitstein fortress! Couldnt get pictures of the fortress because of the sun, that sucks!I am leaving for Leverkusen at 4 to meet the Hein family I stayed with last year!!
