In El Paso right now

I'm at a Holiday Inn Express right now. El Paso is a very interesting city, although it is not one people think about very much it seems. I definitely want to visit this part of Texas and neighboring New Mexico in the future.

After a hostel stay (it was a very good hostel) and overnight bus travel through Mexico, it was such a relief to get here yesterday! Multiple towels and washcloths and a heated room - what a joy!

I'll post a link when I later write up my trip report of Zacatecas, Mexico and El Paso (and a bit of Juarez).

WT, sounds like you're having an "interesting adventure" so far (and happy to have normal "facilities" again at the Holiday Inn Express).

That's one part of the world I haven't been to yet, so I'll be anxious to read your trip report!

Ah the joy of a fluffy towel! Glad you've enjoyed your Mexico jaunt, WT, looking forward to reading more when you get a chance to update.
