eurail pass - continuous or limited days?

hi everyone

my friend and i are wondering whether to get the continuous 2 month pass or the 15 days within 2 months pass. the 15 days one is $500 australian dollars cheaper (260 euro).

to get between our destinations we need exactly 15 days, but i'm not sure how much our train travel will cost within our destinations, as i'm sure we'll be on the train almost everyday travelling around the cities and making daytrips.

from your experience, do you think that the everyday travel cost more/less than 260 euro?
