hi my name is kevin i live in the uk and im looking for a travel partner etc to travel europe. my idea is to leave the uk behind and go in search for something that will change my life. i will start at calais in france backpack along the north coast into spain and head for portugal and head back along the south coast of spain and france seeing the amazing views and visiting the great attractions along the way hoping not to miss anything then i will head towards mainland europe italy and all islands etc etc. time for me is not an issue and i will backpack and camp in most of it money is tight but will look for work along the way to help survive i will also visit eastern europe and every major city my legs will take me were ever they fancy. thier is no direct plan or rush to go from 1 place to another i will take my time so if it takes me 10 years to complete so be it. please get in touch if you like the sound of this etc kevsworl.2008@yahoo.co.uk thanks kevin
remember no time limit, live it rough, alot of walking, working to survive, limited money, this will be and experiance and adventure to never forget..

I am a 27 year old male from the U.S. planning on backpacking through Europe with a similar route in mind. Its just me going and I plan on starting my trip in the first week of June. I should probably start by telling you a bit about myself. I am a 21 year old male from a smaller town in Northern California. I want to go on a backpacking journey through Europe, (i haven't started planing it out yet but i want to 'fly by the seat of my pants' as they say) i don't really have time restrictions however i am trying to go back to college but i really just want to see the world. I have done some traveling and i have to seen the most of the caribbean. I read your post and i am interested in what you are doing. I would like to find out more about your plans and see how they compare to mine. I am interested in joining you at some point in time or at least keeping in touch about how your adventure is going. If you have started your journey or know at least where to start it would be of great help to me. I appreciate any help or even a friendly traveler to help me on my way. You might want to register on the Boards and post some tentative plans on where you want to travel in Europe. I'm sure the group here will be able to offer lots of suggestions.

this is on an old post but i don't see anything for more recent meet ups. anyway i am going to be leaving in july or august [it depends on how things play out] and i'll be doing much the same as the op. i am a 20 year old [will be 21 when i go] girl, and will be camping a lot, working along the way and the like. also the trip will be for as long as need be, and will be lots of fun. ;D i will be starting on the coast and making my way through the different countries. i do have a basic plan on which place to go when and all but really it could and will change on a wim if something interesting comes along anyone interested?  |
