Venice has just launched a new official tourism website as reported by the BBC: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7863349.stmIt's called Venice Connected...and here's the website: www.veniceconnected.com/ It's an interesting setup, but could just work if it's maintained correctly. Apparently, if you use their online service to book any of the tourism services you receive a discount (bookings must be 15 days in advance at least) - and the value of the discount is larger if booking at "less busy" times. It will be good to hear any feedback on the service if any of our Members use it. Particularly the public transport tickets (not so sure you need to book ahead to use public toilets, but if you get a discount then hey, why not?!!! )
