OK so I need some advice. After doing some research I have made some changes to my trip. This is a 5 week trip starting in Munich April 2nd ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Munich Prague Budapest Croatia Venice Rome CT Florence Interlaken Munich
My concern is Croatia. I cannot seem to find a train from Croatia to Italy.

sunshine22, can you post the number of days you were planning for each place? For Croatia, it would help to know which cities you were considering - you may have listed them in an earlier Post but it would good to have them again here. The reason I ask is that there are a few options to get from Croatia to Venice: *Train from Zagreb ( Glavni kolodvor station should come up as a choice) to Venice (look at www.trenitalia.it ) *Hydrofoil/ferry from Pula (and some other ports in Istria) to Venice *Bus from northern parts of Croatia (Pula, Zagreb) to Trieste then on with the train to Venice, although there may now be a bus that goes on to Venice.

Munich-3 days Prague- 3 1/2 days Budapest- 3 1/2 days Croatia- 8 days ( 2 or 3 days in 3 cities) Venice-2 days Rome- 4 days Florence- 3days CT-3days Interlaken- 4days
I gave up Paris and Amsterdam to go to Croatia. Do you feel that was a good choice? How is Croatia for a solo backpacker? Landscape/Architecture/Culture is what interest me. To be honest I could not see myself spending a lot of time in museums.
