Hey Everyone!
Well Adam and I are in Switzerland right now... In Geneva actually... and it's Swiss National Day! (like Canada Day) But it sucks because everything is closed so our sightseeing options are limited.
So we spent the last three days up in the mountains in a place called Gimmelwald. It was really beautiful up there. We did a couple hikes, and took a gondola up to the top of a mountain called the Schilthorn (it's 2970m above sea level). It is the place where the old James Bond 007 movie "Our Majesty's Secret Service" was filmed in 1968. There is a revolving restaurant too, and we ate lunch there. It was really cool, however, it was kind of cloudy, so we couldn't see as much as we would have on a clear day. We stayed in a hostel in Gimmelwald, and met a lot of cool people and had lots of fun. Now we're staying in a 5 star hotel in Geneva which is quite a change from sharing a bedroom with 14 other people, and a bathroom with about 40 other people!!
So tomorrow, we are taking the train to Barcelona... it will be a long day because the only train that had space on it has a really crappy route, and we have to wait 5 hours in a town right outside the Spanish border. So it will take about 14 hours to get to Barcelona from here!!! But it will be worth it once we get there....
Our time is almost up on the internet, so we will write again when we get a chance. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as we are!
