Okay, flight was a little hairy. Nothing really serious happened, just very very long. There was an amusing incident before I even left the states though. I walked towards my gate and there was a woman half laying, half sitting by a wheelchair and just screaming at the top of her lungs. I thought the chair had broken and she had somehow fell out. After listening for awhile though I was able to, somewhat, figure out that she had somehow gotten her two cats checked onto the plane, and even got herself checked in, but didn't make it to the actual plane on time. So her cats were already on their way who knows where, but she was still stuck. She was screaming and cursing and refusing to move and the cops finally had to be called. They were still there and trying to talk to her when I finally boarded my plane.
Twelve hours later and I'm in London. There was some kind of accident on one of the trains earlier. (If I overheard correctly something got hit on London Bridge) So, all of the trains were running late which actually worked in my favor because the train that would have left just before I got there left just after.
I found my hostel without any problems, which is surprising because I didn't see any of the landmarks they mentioned in their directions. Ends up, I walked out the wrong side of the train station, but was still very easy to find. I'm staying at the Ashlee house. I forget who was asking about it, but it seems really nice. Great kitchen facilities, pretty friendly people, very laid back hostel, not much on big parties. (Although what do I know, I still haven't slept here). Everything is very clean and the location really is very good.
I didn't do much at all today other then walk around to try and stay awake. I did visit the British Museum and only wish that I were more awake to appreciate it more. I've already forgotten half of what I've seen, but it is very cool. I do remember seeing the original Alice in Wonderland, originally called Alice's Adventures Underground, or something like that.
I'll update more in a few days, or next week. I'm on my way to Salisbury tommorow to see Stonehenge and Avebury, then onto Portsmouth and then onto my horse guided tour!
