Hello! This website has been a great find and has helped me so much!! So thanks to everyone!! I am now wanting some help and ideas... I am looking to travel with a couple of friends to the Central and Eastern Parts of Europe. This will be my third time over there. We would like to go to Germany, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.
I have been to Rotenbourg (sp?), Germany, Innsbruck, Austria, Geneva & Zurich Switzerland (LOVED IT). I have also been to Paris, London and most of Italy. I wouldn't mind going back to some of these cities, especially that ones I loved , but would like to do something different. I was just wondering if anyone would have suggestions on an itinerary? Or if there are other countries/cities that would be better worth my time.
We are traveling between Thanksgiving and Christmas and are completely open for suggestions. We will have 3 or 4 weeks.
THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!

I don't see them mentioned yet, but if you have 3-4 weeks, I would at least include Salzburg and Vienna in this trip as far as Austria is concerned. From Vienna it makes sense to also add Bratislava (Slovakia) as they are really close together.
Putting something together for a route, than something like Berlin - Dresden - Prague - Cesky Krumlov - Salzburg - Vienna - Bratislava is a pretty obvious one. From Bratislava you could go further east to Budapest, if you like, but seeing you discription, you could add Bratislava as a daytrip from Vienna, and head back west from Vienna to Munich, and from there to Switzerland and the west of Germany.
Why Luxembourg? If you would like to see a city with a nice christmasmarket, try Strassbourg instead.

Welcome to GFE, krj.
Travelling at that time of year will mean you come across my favourite European tradition - Christmas Markets! herrbert has already mentioned Strassbourg's market, and many of the other cities he has listed as suggestions also have fantastic Christmas Markets: Prague, Vienna, Dresden, Berlin. Munich also has a fantastically huge market and isn't on your list either (you may have already been there) but is in the region you're looking at.
For Switzerland, I'd suggest Luzern, Engelberg (buzzing in Winter), Lauterbrunnen. They aren't places you've listed as already visited and are picture-postcard at any time of year, so Winter is no exception.
