How much should I expect to pay for a hostel per night? I know it'll be different depending on which country I'm in. I'll be going to France, Italy, Amsterdam, Spain and maybe Bruges. Thanks everyone.  |

nanner, It's a bit difficult to specify an exact price for Hostel rooms, as these vary between cities, depend to some extent on time-of-year, whether the Hostel is part of a chain or independent, etc. You might want to check www.hostelworld.com or www.hihostels.com for information on specific Hostels in each of the cities you'll be visiting. You also need to decide on what type of room you want in a hostel. Do you want a private? Or are you happy in a dorm?
Also, consider booking early. Hostels fill up very quickly.
