Layover in London

Hi. I am new to this forum, and thought that maybe someone has an answer. I am trying to book a flight from Cologne, Germany through London Heathrow to the US. The question is, how much layover time is needed in London? The best flights have only an hour and 1/2 layover and though Lufthansa has a 94% on-time rating, I just am not sure if that will be sufficient.

I've changed planes in London with 20 minutes between flights

It's a crap shoot! Depends on what terminal you are flying into and out of, etc. Do whatever feels comfortable and there is plenty of things to do at the airport.
