Have you looked on the Home page of this site? There is a link to Hostels in Europe, just go to the ones listed in France and you'll find a selection of Paris ones with some ratings and comments. Otherwise, have a browse through this Accommodation thread as there have been some recent recommendations.

To be specific with names of Hostels, we'd have to know your actual price range and if you have a preferred location.

I have heared good things about St. Christopher's Paris. I booked a bed there for this summer. It is difficult to find a cheap place in Paris in a good location.

bar, you might have a look at www.hihostels.com/dba/list.php?lang=E as they have four properties listed in Paris. As these are part of a chain, the facilities will probably be fairly consistent.

Also have a look at www.hostelworld.com/hostels/Paris for Hostel listings, including the St. Christopher's Hostel (which seems to get very good ratings).

Hopefully one of the locations will have a vacancy during the time you'll be in Paris.

I have a nice address for a little studio in Place de Vendome...sharing it will cost you as much as a bed in a dormitory....with the advantage that you have your privacy...

Why don't you rent a flat in Paris. It is cheaper because you can cook your meal at the apartment instead of the restaurant and the price is good. We used to ask www.1weekflat.com/ to find our ideal flat.
