This article doesn't really say anything new, but just points out that hostels can be quite nice places and quite suitable for families too.

I stayed at that hostel last June. It was my first, and only, experince with a hostel and would stay there again. My only problem was that the locker that I was assigned was missing its door. I would expect that his since been fixed.
