Another quick question, I have heard that Frankfurt is a pass and to spend the extra day in Munich (taking us to 4 days), and that we can hop a bus to be at the Frankfurt airport for the a.m. Can anyone say yes good idea or no bad idea?

Lots of people like Mainz, which is right near Frankfurt and convenient to the airport. I haven't been there, but there is a lot of historical interest. Otherwise, I think you can definitely get at least one day's enjoyment out of Frankfurt (lots of people love it), and it would be way less hectic to be back in the city the day before your flight. I hate being rushed or feeling hectic or taking a chance of losing my return flight and thus a lot of money, so that would influence my decision.
