It looks like a decent pack, I can't find any obvious flaws except one - the price. That is damn expensive.
For less than that you can get an Eagle Creek, which has amazing packs with lifetime warrentys. There is nothing about that pack that I can see that an Eagle Creek wouldn't have - and you would save yourself some cash.

That looks like an excellent Pack! I've heard that Osprey makes an excellent and well engineered Pack, so I'm sure it would be a great piece of kit for your trip. However, I agree with Kim that it seems a bit on the expensive side. If you have the time, it would probably be a good idea to do some price comparisons on the web. Also, give some thought on whether a top-loading Pack or a panel-loading Pack would work the best for you (each has advantages & disadvantages). Finally, make sure you are properly fitted according to your torso size. I'm a big fan of Eagle Creek (which is what I use), so I generally recommend these. However, this is a matter of personal preference, and Osprey also makes an excellent product. You might also check www.gregorypacks.com, as they also make great Backpacks. All of these manufacturers have awesome web sites and listings of dealers in various areas and online dealers, so you should have no trouble finding whichever pack you decide on. Good luck with your purchase and have a great time on your trip!!!

Heres the thing... I work at a ski shop and get packs for 10% below wholesale so price isnt a problem. Im just worried about the size... 4700 cubic inches isnt too big or too small, so I think itll be fine. Any advice is appreciated. As far as the construction goes, i love it... it fits perfect and even has a solo pack built into it that can be used as a daypack( very very convenient). Peace- Ryan
